Peach Salsa
Herb Batter Bread - YUMMY!
Total 5 Star Recipe!
About this Cook
I used to be a horror in the kitchen, but in my early twenties began to find that I did enjoy creating fun meals with different types of foods. Now I am looking into cullinary school, but the greatest part about discovering my passion for food is that I am known in my group of friends as "the ONE that does all of the cooking". I love getting the gang together for large family style meals followed by drinks.
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new things. My favorite thing to do is take a simple dish & add my own flare to it - everyone refers to it as "Ang-style cooking". I seem to be a sucker on AR & like to try and "rescue" unrated recipes by giving them a go.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Anything Italian - especially my mom's lasagna because she learned how to make it from her full blood Italian off the boat grandmother! Also, we always have a huge turkey dinner for Thanksgiving & nothing beats that. :)
My cooking triumphs
I made up my own way to make turkey burgers and when ALL 4 BOYS that I was feeding (and these are meat and potato guys) liked them better than their traditional beef burgers I knew I did something right! Anytime that I try something new & different (like making my own bagels, ect) it always feels like a conquered something.
My cooking tragedies
Recently, it was trying to make homemade pasta for my mother's bday. It was horrific...we will leave it at that... :(

Bruschetta Chicken Bake
Loved it! Okay, I really was going to stick to the orginal recipe, but had to deviate a bit. First, I didn't use canned tomatoes & instead just chopped up 2 large ones. Next, all I had was unflavored stuffing, so used that and added in just a whole can of chicken broth to it. Since my stuffing was unseasoned I did use an extra TBS of Italian seasoning that I mixed in with that, the tomatoes and 5 cloves of garlic (hey, I love the stuff). Following other reviews I omitted the salt entirely and instead chose to add in some fresh ground black pepper. After exactly 30 minutes dinner was ready and soooooo good. This is a great, inexpensive meal that I will totally make again. Thank you for sharing! :)

Italian Green Beans
Loved them! Made them exactly as written with the exception of letting the dressing simmer for moment before adding in the green beans (as others suggested). Such a quick & easy way to jazz up green beans and they went perfectly with the Bruschetta Chicken I made from this site. Thank you for sharing!!

Baklava
Ok, now I know why they charge so much for baklava at the restaurants, lol!! This recipe is AMAZING just as written, but I think I will never look at Phyllo dough the same way again because it was very taxing to work with. Though a bit time consuming, this is a wonderful creation and the directions were very thorough (thank you for that). I used pecans because that is what we had in the house and followed the instructions exactly as indicated. Everyone is raving about how good it is!! Thank you again for sharing!! :)
