Coconut Cream Cake II

I made this cake for my dad's 75th birthday because he loves coconut cake. It was great! Everyone loved it, and my family can be quite critical of my cooking at times. I followed the recipe exactly. The only difference was that I had to cook it a little longer than the recipe called for. I will make this again, and again, and again. Loved it!

OOOOHHHH My Goodness!!! This is absolutely wonderful! I used milk chocolate chips in place of the semi-sweet, but this is one of the best cakes I have ever had. I will definately make it again!!!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

This is a very good cake. It is easy to mix up, and like another reviewer posted, the batter is delicious. I did have to cook it about 15 minutes longer than called for, but my oven is older. I will definately make this again!!!

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

These candied sweet potatoes were wonderful! I didn't use the vanilla, but followed the recipe except for that exclusion and my family loved them. I did put a few marshmallows on top, but they really weren't necessary. Just made the dish prettier. I will definately make this many more times.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

This was pretty good, but I guess I am not a big fan of cooked strawberries. I think this would be great if peaches were substituted. I probably won't cook it again with the strawberries, but probally with with another fruit.
