Quick Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly, but I have made bread before and the consistency wasn't right so I kept adding flour until it pulled away from the bowl. Maybe 1 more cup. With that this recipe is 5 stars all the way. Great white bread for sandwiches when made into a loaf! Thanks for sharing your heirloom recipe!

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
These rolls wer wonderful! They reminded my family of a recipe from our Aunt in VA. whose recipes are always, " a handful of this and a pinch of that..." We brushed the tops with melted butter before the rolls had risen. This is the recipe I've been looking for. THANQ!

Great recipe with some changes. Definitely too much baking powder, I tried recipe as is ,and because of all the great reviews, tried it again using 1 1/2 t. baking soda and 3/4 stick of melted butter...Much better results for my taste. Today I also added 1 1/2 c. wild blueberries and the kids said they were the best!YUMMY!

WOW! These are my favorite cookies . The dough freezes really well, too. I usually use a cookie scoop and freeze it in balls, then take 'em out , roll 'em in Cinn./sugar and bake...then we can enjoy them as often as we like! thanks for the great recipe.

I made this recipe for some friends substituting in canned pumpkin for half of the sour cream and adding some cinnamon. It was a delicious creamy "pumpkin cheesecake" recipe everyone loved.
