My name is Randee and I'm 16 years old. I recently graduated high school and I plan on going to college this year. I started cooking with my mother when I was about 8. I have a real passion for cooking and baking. I know a lot of people think of it as work, but it's more of a hobby for me:) I love cooking and baking, but I really love entertaining. I just feel like if I put all this work into something, that someone besides me should see it. Needless to say my friends and family get a lot of baked goods:) My favorite family cooking tradition would have to be just all being in the kitchen together and making one of our favorite dishes. My family only has a few old recipes, most of our recipes change from year to year, but that makes all the more exciting! The thing I'm most proud of would have to be my baking. I put a lot of time and effort into my baking and I'm not satisfied with it until it's perfect. My favorite baking triumph was my brothers wedding. I catered all the appetizers and some of the desserts. It was a huge success and everyone loved it, including the bride!:) I really don't have any interesting cooking tragedies to speak of. The worst tragedey is probably just my clumsiness in the kitchen. I can tell you that a few fresh-out-of-the-oven pizzas have landed face down on the floor in my kitchen!
