About this Cook
I love to cook for my family and try new and different things while cooking. I also love to read and being outdoors with my son.
My favorite things to cook
To start with I love to cook soups, such as crab, potato and cheese, and clam chowder. I also like to cook steaks, chicken, and pork chops.I'm excellent at creating marinades{people actually like them!ha} and cooking in the slow cooker.I have a prize winning chili that gets rave reviews.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Thanksgiving we all make homemade stuffing together and it is out if this world!! My son loves to participate.
My cooking triumphs
My best triumph would be when I mastered my first soup! It was a hit with everyone. Also I make a good rack of ribs in the slow cooker and some great hot wings.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes
I make these all the time!! I suggest like other reviewers to double the honey and butter at least 2 tbs. I also cook at 425 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 min. Love, love, love these potatoes!!

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever
Love this marinade. I made it with boneless chicken breasts and almost followed the recipe to a tee. I added an extra tbs. of brown sugar just so it wouldn't be to salty. I also sprinkled some paprika on the top while it marinated. I marinated for 2 hours and cooked on the grill at med-hi heat and served with honey roasted potatoes.
