Spicy African Yam Soup

Very nice. I made it with my 10 year old. We liked it very much and my son enjoyed having the rest of the family guess that peanut butter was the secret ingredient. :)

Lovely. I cut the sugar with a little dark rum. I know that rum takes away from the cultural purity of the whole thing, but it was really good. Especially with a little milk poured over in the end.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

VERY good. I added choc chips & cranberries and cut the raisins down by about 1/4. My husband needs to leave some for the kids' lunches tomorrow.... RIGHT DARLING?

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

My first turkey chili. I added some things, more garlic, cayenne, onion powder, vinegar and a small handful of brown sugar. Very good! Would remake.

Turkey Brine

I may have done something wrong here.. but it didn't seem to change the flavour/texture of the turkey at all.. The turkey was good- but not much different than any other turkey I've ever made. It was more hassle than it was worth for me.

This is wonderful soup. I'm a big soup person and this was exactly what I wanted. I have only ever had pea & ham soup. The bacon was very nice. Will def. make this again.

Tortilla Pinwheels

I make these for parties. i tend to spice them up and experiment with them. I had a vegetarian dinner and rolled up a piece of steamed asparagus, omitted the olives and added cheddar. They were yummy. I've also added spicier seasonings, different meats and cheeses and green spinach tortillas for color. They are always eaten right up. Experiment with these!
