stay at home/ homeschooling mom of two boys aged 8 and 4. anything sweet and dessert related march 18 is the alexander/sandor name day in Europe..as my in-laws are Hungarian we celebrate it every year. my addition to this is making a Brandy Alexander Pie...every year it gets better!! aside from the brandy alexander pie...my next triumph is the eggnog cheesecake i found on this site!! this is a christmas tradition now!! my first cheesecake attempt was painful.. the batter oozed out of the springform pan all over the counter and the floor..of the batter i saved from disaster, it oozed out of the pan inside the oven!! no one told me that there is a wrong way the install the bottom of the pan before locking the buckle on the side!!
