Chewy Sugar Cookies

This is the best sugar cookie recipe I have tried. I had no problem with the dough, it wasn't sticky at all. Secret is to cut the cold butter into the sugar. I agree they flattened out significantly but that's what sugar cookies do.

Mushroom Stuffing Balls

Quite good, a little dry but would be really exceptional used as meatballs with spaghetti sauce. I used real minced garlic with basil and oregano leaves instead of parsley flakes. Very good warm.

Apple Cake V

Excellent, nice and sweet. I did use all of the glaze, waiting 15 minutes before pouring the other half on. I added slivered almonds instead of walnuts and 1/2 sultana raisins. I did use cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Cooky Cookies

The best! I used raisin bran instead of corn flakes, and chopped peanuts instead of walnuts. I only use sweetened coconut so that was a given. I also didn't have enough white flour so used half whole wheat. I bet these changes really change the taste of the cookie, making it just as good as this great original recipe.

Apple Crumb Pie

Great, I used currants instead of raisins, added mored cinnamon on top of animals before the crumb topping. Agreed, this receipe yields the correct amount of topping, I wouldn't have doubled it.
