About this Cook
I cook for my hubby and step-son. they love being my guniea pigs when it comes to new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking a variety of cusines - from Indian, Asian, to home-cooking
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family cooked a variety of things - we have lived all over the world - the US to the middle east. We ate traditional foods and always something new. My mother still today tries new recipes everyweek. I know where I get me cooking habits. My husband loves to cook as well. We both cook very differently - he throws things together and I follow recipes.
My cooking triumphs
Emeril's chorizo breaded scallops
My cooking tragedies
I made a beef burgandy in the crock pot and it was horrible.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip
This was excellent. I seasoned the meat w/ garlic powder, salt, & pepper. I used a 2 1/2 lb chuck eye roast and cooked for around 8 hours.I aslo added some soy sauce to the mix!

Angel Chicken Pasta
I thought this was excellent. I doubled the sauce and served it w/ angel hair pasta. Also served a salad. I would definitely double the sauce each time only using 1 packet of Italian dressing mix, but doubling the cream cheese and soup. I also added 2 cans of sliced mushrooms.

Clone of a Cinnabon
EXCELLENT! Used the bread machine for the dough, made the rolls, and put in fridge overnight. Also softened butter and mixed w/ cinnamon & brown sugar and spread on rolled out dough.
