I live in a busy Northern California town with my husband and two younger children. We have 4 cats and an old lady dog. We love to eat and experiment with new dishes. I love to cook Mexican food. But I also love to bake alot. We do a lot at Christmas time with Candy and desserts. I am always expected to bring lots of goodies. But I always try to introduce new treats into the mix to see if they can become a new tradition. One of my biggest would be learning how to make sugar candies. I always afraid until my husband's Grandmother showed me it wasn't that difficult. Trying to learn to bake with Splenda. The cookies and bakes just don't work well. They are kind of rubbery....
