About this Cook
I'm 23 years old and I'm addicted to the Food Network. I truly wish I could be as talented as some of the chefs on there... Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray, otherssss. I love that show. I have no idea where they get there ideas from.
My favorite things to cook
Things that fatten a nice little piggy up.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love PA Dutch food because we came from there!
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made French onion soup that tasted better than anything I've ever had at a restaurant.
My cooking tragedies
to be determined....

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce
I did as other reviewers said and used 1 tablespoon vinegar with 1 teaspoon soy sauce. I also used half of the amount of butter called for. It's delicious!!! Great side dish!

Tomato, Cucumber and Red Onion Salad with Mint
Thanks! I needed a good base recipe for tomato and cucumber salad. Skip the mint and substitute rice wine vinegar for the red wine vinegar and you have Noodles & Co's cucumber tomato salad recipe! I sprinkle it with celery salt, too.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese
I LOVE this recipe. For those of you turned off by the cream cheese taste - try adding 2 cloves of minced fresh garlic to the cheese sauce while cooking. It really adds EXACTLY what this recipe needs! It's good without it too, but this garlic loving girl had to try it with it! And I don't regret it!
