I loved these, and remember my mom making them when I was younger, she was from Scotland. I did add a bit more almond to the icing, but what I am thinking is next time I might use the store bought sugar cookie dough( I know) but it would be fine Im sure, I will try it and update.

Chai Latte

I love the coffee house brand of Chai Latte and I get it all the time. I made this just now but made some change due to no goats milk and cardamon, I made the tea as directed but added a pkt of Splenda and sugar-free Vanilla caramel coffemate(aout a Tbls) and a splash of milk. Its delicous and low cal and low fat. I would think that the cardamon would add a little more chai flavor so next time I will add it. Im enjoying this variation very much. Sorry I hate when people change it and then rate it but wanted to share.

Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Beer

Excellent !! My mother made this for years on christmas eve, soo sooooo miss hers. I read reviews and although this has few ingredients its the recipe people and the same as Mom made, if you start cooking and adding and browning you no longer have a slow cooker recipe. Just throw it in and wait. Great recipe JBBACH.

Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade

I liked this but all I could taste was the sesame oil, maybe cause I didnt do overnight marinading, will try that next time, otherwise good but not great.

Classic Macaroni Salad

I always make a tuna macaroni salad, as my mother did for years and its delicious, but decided to go with ribs today id make the classic and this is also delicious, way better than the kind you get at deli. My hubby loves my tuna mac salad and he said this is really good also. A keeper..oh soooo easy to make. Love it

Mango-Peach Smoothie

Gee I wonder how this taste as is? LOL as I used stawberry yogurt and skim milk as a soy substitute, but used fresh peach and mango, my mango wasnt quite ripe but it still turned out great.

Quick and Easy Yorkshire Pudding

Perfect just like my Scottish mother use to make, but she did do as a reviewer said instead of butter added the beef fat rendering to bottom of pan, oh yea she made it in a 9x13 pan also, not muffins, not as presentible but just as tasty, for 12 kids eating who cared..lol Great recipe

Frosted Banana Bars

I am giving them 5 stars cause they are really good, but I was expecting more of a cookie type bar, mine were like cake and had to eat them with a fork. But flavor was wonderful and they make alot, and quite and easy dessert to make last minute.

Salisbury Steak

Had to give it a 4 star, my patties fell apart, I read some others did also, but flavor was nice, I just ended up using it as a hamburger over mashed potoatoes as my mother did when we were kids just didnt taste the same. I will try again someday.

World's Best Lasagna

This was excellent, my only complaint is I like a lot more ricotta cheese in mine, but everyone loved it, I believe the sausage made this recipe soooo good, dont skip it if you like sausage.

Super Sausage Gravy

This was excellent, even my hubby who hates sausage gravy in restaurants said it was very good. As it got thicker sitting on heat, I just added a little more mild and thinned it right down, very yummy.
