About this Cook
I'm a stay-at-home Mom for two beautiful girls, ages 6 and 8. My hubby's in the Air Force, so we move around quite a bit. I truly enjoy cooking, and only wish I could devote more time to really intricate dishes.
My favorite things to cook
Mexican is my favorite. I don't need a recipe for that! It allows me to be creative, which I enjoy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Saturday morning, I make a big breakfast for my family. This has become a tradition and the girls enjoy helping their Mama!
My cooking triumphs
Too many to mention! LOL!
My cooking tragedies
Too many to mention!

Old-Fashioned Roasted Pecans
OH MY GOODNESS! Still in the process of making these, but had to taste a sample! SO glad I did! They are indeed toooo yummy! These will surely make wonderful gifts at this time of year. I, too, doubled the egg white and split the sugars w/ brown and white. I also split the flavorings...half vanilla and half almond (instead of water) and added a bit more cinnamon. Delish! I'm making two more double batches! Thanks for the recipe! :)

Sweet Sweet Potato Casserole
AWESOME recipe! It's not overly sweet and you can really taste the potatoes! My kids who have an aversion to veggies LOVED it! Will definately be making it again!

Roasted Brussels Sprouts
I added some fresh crushed garlic to the recipe and it was awesome! My non-eating brussel sprout daughters loved them! I will be making them again!
