Crunchy Pea Salad

I make this all the time. It is so very easy and its popular at get-togethers. I've never put poppy seed in the mix, but I do add cubed or shredded cheddar cheese!

Caramel Pecan Pie

This is a super recipe. I decided to try it in place of the corn syrup recipe. Just as easy to make and it tastes better. I husband liked it way better than the corn syrup recipes.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

This is so easy to make and it tastes delicious. Its perfect for a chilly day! I add a bit of celery to the soup to give it a bit more color and add an extra can of corn because..well..I like corn. :P

Mid-Summer Italian Bread Salad

I absolutely LOVE this salad. I usally get tired of salads, but I make this several times a week for a side salad with supper or for my noon-time lunch! I've also added green olives and sliced avacado to the salad and it tastes SUPER!

White Bean 'n' Ham Soup

Made this recipe last night and it was great. I didn't mash any of the beans and the soup still had a great consitency. My husband, who usually doen't like bean soups, said, "This recipe is a keeper!"

Sugar Cookie Icing

I thought the taste of the recipe was great, but I had to add about 3-4 times more corn syrup! The frosting was way too thick without it. Also, the frosting became harder and harder to spread over time because it started to dry and became thick. I will try this recipe again, but I will probably make some changes to see if I can improve consistency.

Mint Chocolate Cake

I served this cake at a St. Patty's Day party and everyone liked it. I took other reviewers advice and added about double the mint extract to the frosting and the chocolate topping. Also, I froze the cake before putting on the icing and froze it again to make sure the green frosting was hard before putting on the chocolate topping. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS! Otherwise, you may have one heck of a mess when try to spread each frosting.

Gnocchi in Fontina Sauce

I gave this four stars because I thought it was good but too salty. However, my husband loved it and wants me to make it again. I did try it once with Muenster cheese and that turned out pretty good (and its a lot cheaper than Fontina cheese). Thanks!
