About this Cook
I'm a mother of 3, happily married for just over 10 years.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, that's how I started, at my mom's elbow, baking Christmas cookies year after year and now I carry on that tradition with my own kids. I enjoy trying new recipes all the time. I mostly cook italian, mexican, southern and general american style meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking Christmas cookies every year, making a "lamb" cake for Easter, of course Turkey on Thanksgiving all that good ol' American stuff!
My cooking triumphs
I learned to decorate cakes a few years back and have made some pretty cool creations with that skill.
My cooking tragedies
For the life of me, I mess up rice and soup on a constant basis. I just can't seem to do those. Also, I've made a mess of trying to slide pizza onto a hot pizza stone a number of times and have since given up!

Seven Layer Dip I
Everyone loved this dip. I made it for my daughter's b-day party. I left out the meat and seasoned the sour cream. Definetly delish!

White Chocolate Chunk Cookies
This recipe wasn't bad, but my cookies reminded me more of a sort of shortbread consistency. I was hoping for more of a soft cookie like Subway's. I don't think I'd make this particular one again.
