Sam's Famous Carrot Cake
This cake is AWESOME. Made it as is, and it quickly disappeared. Very moist, easier to make than I thought given the ingredients and absolutely the best carrot cake I've ever tasted. Thanks for sharing this fantastic family recipe!

Radishes Simmered with Thyme
Really great way to use radishes, which I normally don't eat. Pleasant, slightly sweet taste which everyone likes. Have made this several times and think it stands well without the thyme if you are out. Either way, it's a unique use for radishes and will become a summer table staple in our house.

Almond Yummies
As noted by others, the dough wasn't stiff enough to roll. Had to add extra flour to make it into drop cookies. Also used 1 tsp walnut flavor as I ran out of almond. Too sweet for my family's taste but an OK recipe to keep around if in a pinch as the ingredients are simple and almost always in the cupboard.
