Pumpkin Dump Cake

If you like pumpkin pie you will love this! I made it exactly as written and it turned out very good. Leftovers still good 2 days later. Definitely use a spice cake mix. I wonder how a graham cracker crust would be on the bottom but not sure I want to fool around with such a great recipe.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

The whole family liked this but wasn't wow'd. I added 1/2 cup red wine as suggested. I also added a bit of italian seasoning. Still didn't seem seasoned enough. I think that 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp of worcestershire is not enough salt for 2 lbs of meat and vegetables.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

After years of package taco mix we wanted something different. Our family loves lime so this was a hit. We add sour cream to our tacos and guacamole would be good too. We don't change anything to the basic recipe. Loved them!

Dad's Pan-Fried Green Beans

I loved this and so did my DD. I did half the sesame oil added a bit of vegetable oil so the sesame flavor wouldn't be too strong. My DH liked them but wasn't overly thrilled. I think we will make again since it is a nice change of pace for regular green beans.

'Out of Salad Dressing' Salad Dressing

Love this dressing...we make it over and over. Watch the garlic salt as the recipe seems to call for alot. We use garlic powder and shake in a bit of salt to taste.

Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti Squash

Maybe my spaghetti squash was on the small size but this made way too much sauce and it overpowered the squash. The flavor of the sauce was nice and perhaps it would be good on chicken but on the squash it was too rich and heavy. Probably won't make this again.

Yellow Squash Casserole

I have made this twice this summer with yellow squash from the garden. It is very good. I like using the crackers because some casseroles use too much bread or stuffing mix. I like all the cheese and that makes this easier to get the family to eat it too.

Mozzarella Chicken

This was very good. We used shredded mozzarella and next time I will be sure to purchase sliced. The shredded cheese melted out of the chicken and was almost gone when we ate it. We will make this again.

Famous Chicken Francaise

I have made this twice and haven't changed a thing either time. We really like it but I can't give it a 5. The breading comes off when you add the liquid and continue cooking. This might not happen if you removed the meat once done cooking then cook the sauce in the pan separtely. I may try that next time. We love the lemon in the egg wash.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Excellent recipe for something different with chicken plus a good one dish dinner. I baked the chicken as directed and it was very moist. I did substitute half and half for the cream and the sauce was still yummy. I added mushrooms and peas to mixed reviews. The mushrooms were good and I would add again but the peas weren't so good but I won't lower my rating for my adjustment. Chicken could be baked ahead of time or you could even use left over chicken. If you love lemon this is for you!

I made this with provolone and mozarella. My kids don't like swiss cheese. Everyone liked this but my son felt it would be better with pizza sauce. Next time I might try that...onions too.

Butterscotch-Peanut Fondue

Wow this was great. Wonderful on bananas, apples and pretzels. I substituted peanut butter chips per another reviewers suggestion. Thanks for the great recipe. I did notice that after it really heated up it thinned out (less milk next time?)
