Easy Pancakes

Just use 2 tsp instead of 2 tbs of baking powder and you won't be disappointed! fluffy and sweet and warm and super easy!

Orange Snowman

This was like an orange creamsicle in a glass! I cut out a bit of the sugar and added a bit more vanilla. My 2 year old would have drank the whole pitcher if I let him! Thanks for the yummy idea!

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake

This is a great recipe if you're looking for a different kind of cheesecake. The top gets almost crunchy from the butter/sugar/cinnamon combo. Yum! Thanks for sharing!

Roasted and Curried Butternut Squash Soup

mmmm warm and yummy! I left out the oregano and brown sugar and used a 1/2 cup of whipping cream instead of yogurt. this soup is a great way to warm up on a cool fall day.

Buffalo Chicken Chili

I couldn't wait to make this and I was not disappointed! I upped the Franks Red Hot to one cup and also added a bunch of chopped veggies (onions, green pepper, red pepper). Next time we have a chili cook off at my office I'm going to make this recipe. It is delicious!!

Baked Potato Soup

I've been craving this since I found the recipe and it didn't disappoint! I used 1 tbsp bacon fat and 2 tbsp butter with 3 tbsp flour to make the roux, then 2 cups chicken broth and 2 cups milk (instead of cream). to make it a little thicker I mashed it up a bit and it was perfect. thanks for the yummy recipe!!

Creamy Cheese Bread

yum!! I loved this idea so I tried it and loved it! I didn't have sour cream so I just used mayo and added some garlic powder, topped it with mozzarella and cheddar...I will never make garlic bread any other way!

Bread Machine Pizza Dough

this was so easy! the dough was really easy to handle and baked up really well. I used olive oil instead of butter and I think next time I'll add some flavourings to mix things up. This is a great and easy recipe as is!

Hummus III

with a few minor tweaks I loved this hummus. I added more lemon (cause we love the tanginess it adds) and some water to get it to the consistency I like (next time I'll keep the liquid the chick peas are in and use that instead of water - I forgot to keep it this time!).

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

I really enjoyed this dish! I didn't have any ricotta, so I left it out and I made a few tweaks to the spices just cause I know what my family likes. Funny thing was my hubby said afterwards, "it could use a ricotta layer!" so next time I'll be sure to have ricotta on hand. I will definitely make this again!

Chocolate Chip Bread II

I would make this again just for the heavenly smell of it when it bakes! I froze my chocolate chips and added them by hand (after the mixing cycle of my bread machine, then put it right back into the bread machine). what a special bread! I did it without cinnamon just to have the pure chocolate flavor, but I will try it with cinnamon next time. I will be making this again and again.

Baked Rice Pudding

this was good, but I like my rice pudding a little creamier....maybe 1/2 a cup more milk and a little less cooking time - but that's just personal preference. with a little whipping cream on top, this pudding is delish!

Strawberry Oat Muffins

this is a sweet and very moist muffin! I added about a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon for taste. next time I might bake them a few mins longer (I hate a dry muffin, so I always take them out a little early, especially the first time I'm trying a recipe). I think I might add maybe 1/4 - 1/2 cup more oats. I'll be making these again!

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

this is SO easy and SO yummy! I mould the meatballs before I go to bed and put them in the slowcooker. before I go to work in the morning, I pour over the tomato sauce and when I get home, the most delicious and tender meatballs await!! thanks for the recipe! I will never make meatballs any other way!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

I used the sauce base from this recipe and put in whatever veggies I had on hand plus some chicken pieces and keilbasa - served it over rice and my hubby said "this one's a keeper! thanks for the idea.
