Gourmet Mushroom Risotto
I really enjoyed this recipe. I did tweak it abit to our tastes. I warmed the wine first and put some fresh basil in and squeezed some fresh lime in as well. Then after that was warmed I added it to the rice. After it was all done I added about a 1/4 cup of heavy cream and did added have of the butter that was called for. This recipe gave me a great start!

Southern Pulled Pork
I switched it up a bit, and used some emerils essence for the seasoning. I also added some sweatness to it. Instead of 4 cups of water I did 2 cups and then added 2 cups of apple cider. The sweetness and the smokiness pair each other well.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip
My husband loves this sandwhich. I did add a hefty tablespoon of chopped garlic (we love garlic alot) and added a bay leaf as well. I also add browning sauce as suggested by others. Then I cut sandwhich buns and butter both sides and put the meat on the buns and top with a slice of provolone cheese. I put it in the oven on broiler setting for 2 mins! A great warm hearty meal on cold winter nights!
