Cranberry Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
I could easily eat the whole loaf all by myself. I made the bread last night and it was great then but this morning it was so out of this world that I had to get right online and write about it. It is moist and delicious. I did make a glaze from orange juice and confectioners sugar, but even without it the bread would be excellent.

Berry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
My family loved this recipe. I didn't have any raspberries on hand so I used 3 1/2 cups of frozen mixed berries and 1/2 c. frozen cranberries and added a 1/4c. extra sugar due to the tartness of my berries. It was awesome. I also made 1 and a 1/2 recipes of crumb mix because I love a little extra and the recipe didn't seem to make enough for my taste. I will definitely make this again and again.

Bavarian Style Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
I made these last night for my daughter's second birthday party. Despite the seemingly odd combination of ingredients, these meatballs were excellent. I did not make any changes to the sauce but did double the amount of meatballs. They were very tasty and popular with all of the guests, children and adults. Everyone was asking about them and was telling me that I should definately make them again.

Sunshine's Company Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
I agree with some of the others, these potatoes were not bad but definately lacked the "something" it takes for a true five star recipe. Not much overall flavor. They really were just really high calorie mashed potatoes. I really think that adding onions and garlic would really allow this dish to achieve its potential.

Hershey's ® 'Perfectly Chocolate' Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
My sister, who is a chocolate cake fanatic, loved this. I made it for her birthday in August and she has already mentioned it again several times. It was moist but dense and the frosting was out of this world.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
This was wonderful. I only had a large can of diced tomatoes on hand, which I used in place of the whole tomatoes. I also only had a pound of shrimp. I can't wait to have it again.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
I really loved these. I rolled half of the cookies in sugar, left the others plain and slightly flattened the balls before baking. My husband wanted traditional sugar cookies (not rolled) so I made this recipe for him. He ate the entire batch!! (with the exception of the few I ate) I have already passed on the recipe to my mother. I will make this again and again.

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2005
I made this yesterday for my daughter's christening brunch. It was a hit. Several guests asked for the recipe. I followed other's advice and made it with 10 eggs, 3/4c. milk, and half of the cheese. I can't wait for another opportunity to make this again.

Cranberry Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2004
Oh my, this was sooooo YUMMY!! Anyone who rated this recipe with under 5 stars must have done something wrong. I've made this twice since I discovered the recipe a month ago. My fiance and I love it. The pork is so moist and just falls apart in the scrumptious gravy. This is the perfect main course for a dinner party....especially when you want to spend more time with your guests than you want to spend in the kitchen. I have made it once for company already and it was a hit. Both times I made this, I used orange juice and brown sugar as substitutes. AWESOME RECIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!
