Being born and raised in the south, I grew up learning to cook traditional southern foods from my mother and grandmother. After studying abroad, I became more interested in mediterranean cuisine. Comfort foods; although I don't cook them that often due to the usual lack of nutritional value. Baked mac & cheese is one of my favs. I remember watching my mother make no-bake cookies every holiday season, along with peanut butter balls. I finally mastered my great-grandmother's cornbread dressing recipe. I'm sure there are just too many to count.
