We are farmers in Nebraska. I work on the farm with my husband during the spring and fall. I consider myself a stay at home mom, my mom babysits when i do farm work. I began my cooking career in 4-H, my mom was the leader. Now i help my kids with there 4-H baking. My youngest son is the best baker in the family. I like to cook meals, not necessary a baker. I am successful at it but prefer the meat and potato cooking! my husband does all the grilling. I also like to do lots of "football food". Our 4H baking is a tradition, the kids bake everything they can and we are really busy trying and perfecting recipes for weeks before the fair. Then entry day is just crazy, we usually get up at 4 am to get started.
