I have been a single mother for several years. My children (3) are all grown now, but love to stop by for delicious snacks and things I have baked. I would have to say Thanksgiving. That's when my family relies on me the most. The always look forward to the traditional meal and what ever surprise recipe I decide to throw on the table. And I have heard no complains so far. Was about 5 years ago, when my oldest daughter asked me to cook for her entire wedding reception. It couldn't have turned out better. I, amoung all the guests and my daughter and her new husband was thrilled on the turn out. I'll have to get back to you on that.
