I'm a stay-at-home wife and mother. I have enjoyed cooking all of my life and learned at the elbow of my own mom and my grandmothers. Now, I have my own little girl at MY elbow and enjoy every minute of showing her the ropes! ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING...as long as I can experiment!!! I come from the midwest, so it's all about fried food, rich food, gooey desserts, you name it. I realized how unhealthy all of those dishes are, so I am learning ways to make "copies" of my family's traditional recipes...only much easier on the arteries! Finally figured out how to make flour tortillas just like my hubby's Abuela used to make!!! NONE....yet!
