Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce
Made this recipe the other day. I thought I had Italian Sausage but did not so I used Brats instead...Left out the peppers because we dont like them but added artichokes, fresh bannana peppers and mushrooms...I did brown the brats first...Threw everything in teh crock pot and left it. IT WAS GREAT. The meat was sooo tender by the end of the day and the brats absorbed the flavor of everything around them...We threw it over some whole wheat pasta. It was delightful. Will make again next time with Italian Sausage!

Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread
I made SIX loaves of this. I made the recipe AS is with only two slight changes...I added about a half cup more of zucchinni because I didnt want to waste it and I addes some brown sugar. This recipe is fabulous! It "Waved" perfectly. I gave away loaves to family and friends and ALL of them said they loved it and asked for more!! I froze some as well and used it a few weeks later and it was just as good...I am making another batch this weekend. DELIGHTFUL recipe...You would be hard pressed to even know there was a vegetable in this bread!

Sour Cream Cookies II
My family has been making these for Christmas for over 40 years. They are always a crowd pleaser, and even the naysayers who dont like sour cream love them. They freeze well too. We have never iced ours though, will have to try that and we have never added nuts or raisins. I am not sure why, as it sounds delightful, but almost always add a bit of extra sugar and vanilla, as I like mine sweeter. The lumpy shape is a nice contrast to the typical "Cut out" cookie...
