Pecan Tassies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
I was very pleased with this recipe! I used real butter, a personal preference, and they turned out deliciously perfect! I even refrigerated the dough and filling and baked them a few days later. I just let the dough sit until it was just cooler than room temp, and I heated the filling up in a pot on low until it bubbled. They turned out fresh and delicious!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
LOVE These, this recipe is one of my go-to party recipes. FYI there's always extra filling, so buy some extra mushrooms! Leave out pepper flakes and these become kid friendly! Use pampered chef garlic press, for perfect garlic in this recipe!

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
This is my absolute GO-TO recipe for a comfort snack. I've tried several scone recipes, and this is BY FAR THE BEST! I followed the tips of "Care". I reduced the baking powder by 1tsp, cut the cold butter into tiny pieces, and mixed it in with my hands until it was pea size lumps. I popped that bowl in the freezer while I prepped my liquids- I added 1 tsp of vanilla to the liquids because I love vanilla, and then I added some chopped up belgian chocolate chunks, mixed the dry and wet together gently. I added a dash of vanilla to the egg wash and then sprinkled raw sugar on them and these turned out PERFECT! Soft and fluffy, with a sweet scone shell on top- soooo yummy, I was trying to recreate some chocolate chip scones I used to eat at UC Davis when I was a student, and these are better!!! I make them ALL THE TIME!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
These were AWESOME!!! You really do need to abide by the directions as far as warm milk and room temp eggs. The second time I made them, I didn't let those get to room temp. and my dough suffered, although, they were still delicious. If you follow the recipe though, they WILL taste like Cinnabon!

Easy Chocolate Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
Huge huge hit!! Delicious cake! My sis made it for my mom's 60th birthday and everybody said it was the best cake ever! I made it for my friends and got too impatient with my bundt pan and wound up serving it up in bowls with the fudge sauce over it and some strawberries (like my sis who had a perfect bundt!) everybody raved about it! Add whipped cream or vanilla ice cream! I'll be making this one a lot!!!

Alfredo Sauce

Awesome even if you don't have parsely! My 2 year old loves it, and he is very picky. I used penne rigate noodles and snuck chicken inside of the noodles! He didn't even reallize because the sauce was so good!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
These cookies are really awesome! I used semi-sweet choco chips instead of white ones, and I omitted the nuts, and my husband just loved them! I cooked them for 12 minutes, they are good when a little crunchy on the outside!
