I am a 26 year old stay at home mom and student. I graduated college with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting in 2004. Now, I am going back to get an Associate Degree Nursing...Hoping one day to find my dream job working in Labor & Delivery!
In the meantime, my interests are my son (born April 2007), playing toys, cooking, going to the movies, crafting, scrapbooking, dancing, surfing the internet, reading, drawing, daydreaming, shopping online, spending time with my husband, fishing, and hanging out with friends. Although, I spend a lot of my time studying!
I started cooking when I was about 8 or 9. My mother would let me help with supper and desserts, and with holiday meals.
I am always up for trying something new and different. I love trying new restaurants and recipes. I love to watch cooking shows also.
My favorite things to cook
I have always had a flair for cooking. I love cooking anything, and love trying new recipes. I receive Kraft Mag. and Taste of Home(which I love making the recipes from) in the mail.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up my mother, 2 younger brothers, and I always made desserts for holidays together, and my step-father would always come in and sneak a few bites (sounds like the dad on A Christmas Story, huh?). It was always fun being together making things like bourbon balls, peanut butter balls, and chocolate cover prezels.
My cooking triumphs
I don't know what to really put here as a cooking triumph...most things I make turn out pretty good but I don't consider them triumphs.
My cooking tragedies
Turkey stir-fry, Turkey spaghetti, Raspberry Pork Chops...YUCK!
