My family loves this cake at Easter!! I do it with a bit of tinted green toasted coconut, Peeps and jelly beans on the top...too cute! I am not a fan of frozen whipped topping and my family is. I beat an 8 oz. package of SOFTENED cream cheese with the pineapple and then the whipped topping. It doesn't taste nearly as fake that way!

I made these...and we all like the taste...but there was a weird chalky thing about them when they were warm...It almost seemed too cocoa-ey...Once they cooled completely they were great!! I will definitly make them again!

I don't know what went wrong with this recipe. I added ham with the macaroni, a little onion and garlic powders and mustard with the milk. It smelled great. Looked great with a nice brown cheesy crust...but underneath everything was the consistancy of scrabbled eggs. I had my three guys taste it and asked if they would eat it for supper...it came down to "yes" if it would hurt my feelings if they said "no"...they got pizza instead.
