Bananas in Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
I didn't have superfine sugar so I used brown sugar instead. The best carmel sauce ever!!!! My family and I didn't like the hot, mushy bananas so the next time I make this I will just pour it over the bananas instead of heating them thru. All in all, very satisfied with this recipe! A must try.

This was great! OH MY gosh!! So light and refreshing. I used it as a dip and as a dressing. I didn't thin it at all when used as a dressing and it was perfect. The flavor is wonderful! And the NO GUILT is wonderful!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
These were ok. Mine turned out a little dry and crumbley in the middle. They were good, but as my husband said "Good, but not worth the extra work". I made them with my 3 year old daughter and we had fun doing it.

I did not like this at all. It was way too sweet and very grainy even tho I beat the heck out of it. I threw it away and make a different frosting.

Homemade Butter

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Oh, I wish I could give this 100 stars!! I am so thrilled with this recipe!! I made it in my Kitchen Aid mixer. Beat on 8 for 8 minutes. I added the salt as it was mixing. I gathered up the butter from the milk as best I could, then lined my strainer with cheese cloth and squeezed out the rest of the milk. It was super simple. The whole process took less them 20 minutes including clean up. I will never buy butter again. The recipe makes about a pound of butter.

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
This is so good and it is so easy to work with. The first time I made it I did not have any heavy whipping cream, so I used a 1/2 cup of evaporated milk and a 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk. I followed some advice of other reviewers and used half butter and half shortening (butter flavored). It was SO good, I could have just eaten it by itself. Since then I have made it with just whipping cream, and although very good, I prefer it with evaporated and sweetened condensed milk and will make it that way from now on. Thanks for such a great recipe!!
