French Breakfast Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
This is really good but I think it makes only 6 muffins, not a dozen decent-sized muffins. Forcing the recipe to come out with a dozen muffins will yield very small muffins. I would also use half of the topping ingredients only and use a pastry brush to coat the muffin tops with butter.

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This is the easiest quiche recipe I've ever tried. You can even add different types of fillings--blanched spinach, diced, cooked sausage or ham cubes. I also substituted 1/2 cup cream for part of the milk.

Lemon Madeleines

Easy to make and very yummy. I suggest to sift together the flour, sugar and baking powder. Also to try whisking the eggs until almost double in size. The madeleines came out dense with a fine crumb.

Peach Cobbler IV

real easy to make for quick desserts. i suggest to remove most of the juice since it makes the texture to doughy. good served cold with whipped cream on top!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Delicious and so easy to make! When I have time, I use fresh minced ginger. I also put foil on top to cover. It keeps the chicken tender but I remove the foil in the last 20 minutes.

Ginger Pork

great recipe! i was looking for an alternative way to use pork and this fit the bill. you can also use fresh grated ginger before simmering. I added a splash of sesame oil before plating that really makes it taste oriental.

Lemon Squares II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
i doubled the amount of lemon juice and added some lemon zest to make the taste more lemony. keep a close watch on the oven though since baking it the full time tends to slightly burn them.
