Chili, pasta dishes, all casseroles, biscuits, anything in crock pot My mother was a fabulous cook! Pot roast, round steak w/gravy, fried chicken w/mashed potatoes & sweet corn...you name it, she cooked it! On Saturdays she would make us tacos but she would fry the tortillas in hot oil and they came out all bubbly and crispy. The first meal I cooked for my boyfriend...creamed chicken over biscuits. He had 2nd and 3rd helpings. Also my chicken noodle casserole. Pot roast! I got the roast at a cheap discount store (which I won't name!)...the quality of the beef was not good and thus, it made for a very average pot roast. Next time I will buy my roast at a grocery store with a meat specialty.
