I am a stay at home mom, with a great almost 2 year old daughter. I finally have a real kitchen after living in Student housing with tiny stoves and no counter space. I am enjoying stepping up my cooking skills. I love baking. I think it is pretty fun although I really don't have time for it often. Cassaroles are a staple for us. My family really doesn't have any cooking traditions, quick and easy, my mom didn't cook too much out of the pasta range. My grandmothers are wonderful cooks but are hardly called upon to do so any longer so I haven't had the chance to learn anything much from there experiences. I have made a wonderful Taco Soup, and some great deserts. Most everything I make the first time I mess up one way or another. I am just not lucky in the kitchen. It frustrates me and then I just try again... I spent all day making a Broccoli and Cheese soup and tasted it and Hated it.
