Wacky Cake VIII
I just want to add my raves for this recipe. It is the first chocolate cake recipe given to me by a friend when I was a newlywed over 40 years ago. My husband and I loved it then for its deliciousness and its size (just right for 2), and the whole family loves it now for its taste, its moistness, and its ease of making with the kids. It doubles great, so am making it for a crowd today. We usually ate it without frosting, because it's so moist and yummy on its own - and we're not big frosting eaters. So glad to find it online, as I haven't made it for a while and have no time to scrounge for the piece of paper I wrote it on years ago.

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake
I made this recipe with a few changes. As other reviewers suggested, I cut the sugar to 1 1/2 cups, and added a dash of nutmeg. I also made this into 8 large muffins- to make them very tender I stirred in the sour cream, and then put the flour mixture in all at once and stirred it just until moistened. Oh, and I sprinkled the tops with coarse sugar and cinnamon. Yummy!

Soft Chocolate Mint Cookies
Very yummy cookies. We added Andies Mint chips (you know, the little pieces they chop the imperfect mints into), and they were perfect in them. They make me glad I inadvertently melted a cup of butter instead of a cup and a half!
