Boiling the ribs really do make them tender, but I found my ribs lost some of the flavor in the cooking.
Next time I may to rub them in something before I cook them - but the reviews are right, beautiful tender, falling off the bone meat are results to expect.
I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce, but found it was a bit sweet, I made up my own mix, with some BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, garlic salt and pepper, and some left over cooking juice. As it cooked, it got nice and thick, lovely tangy flavor.
