I am a wife and mother to an wonderful family. My husband and I have been married for 15 years and we have 4 fantastic children. I love to cook and make family favorites for dinner. I love to cook warm, festive, family meals. I do alot of crock pot cooking for my family. It is easy and it allows me to create wonderful meals with little time. I also enjoy cooking for the holidays, mainly, Thanksgiviving, and Christmas!! Everything is homemade! My holiday meals take weeks to organize and plan but it is so much fun to get the kids involved. One of my favorite traditions is preparing our Thanksgiving meal. I like to get everyone's imput on their favorite dishes. The kids get excited because they love to help. We usually have a homemade, festive, cranberry nut bread for breakfast with bacon and coffee or tea while cooking our Thanksgiving Feast. We do this while watching the Macy's Day Parade! It is my hope that my children wilol carry on this tradition, As I did when I had my family. I would say that my cooking triumphs are being able to feed my family healthy meals and them actually enjoying them!! I have had a few of those! Mainly, when trying a new recipe that didn't go over so well with the family.
