Currently in law school, but I still find time to bake and cook - especially sweet things to eat. Chocolate Chip cookies, cookies of all types, and mexican food (there is a shortage of good mexican food in central Virginia). Hmm, my mom was a special occassion cook - she was terrible on the day to day stuff. But grandma was a great baker! I made something almost identical to See's Vanilla Fudge - ONCE! Can't get it out here, so you have to make it yourself. Vanilla Fudge every other time. It is hard stuff to make. Oooh, and the time the glass candy thermometer broke in a huge batch of perfect butterscotch kisses.
