About this Cook
I love Allrecipes.com :) I love the reviews and changing recipes to make them "my own." I homeschool my two boys and I teach cooking and writing to other homeschooled students.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, salads, anything to make a crowd happy :) I teach cooking to high schoolers in a homeschooling environment.
My cooking triumphs
I enjoy cooking for crowds. Two Wednesday nights a month I cook for 60-80 people for dinner. I seem to get all the credit because I am in charge, but I do have faithful helpers.
My cooking tragedies
Taking the Thanksgiving turkey out of the oven while about 15 of my friends were standing around me. I had the turkey on a platter that was not oven safe - the platter exploded and the turkey went flying everywhere!

Oven Fried Chicken III
My family and I loved this. Kinda made my own mayo base - mayo on one side, Cardini's ceaser on the other. Ran out of breadcrumbs so I used 1/2 bread crumbs, 1/2 crushed Ritz crackers. YUM!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn
Very, very good. Just let the brown sugar mixture come to a boil over medium heat - it will take some time. I used the brown bag method and it worked well with my hubby shaking the bag as I poured in the mixture.
