BBQ Cola Meatballs

I made the sauce as written exactly and it was horrible. I made 5 cocktail meatball recipes from this site and did a taste comparison. This was the worst of all 5. The best was sweet & sour meatballs. Will not make again.

Cocktail Meatballs I

I used frozen meatballs from Sam's Club and made the sauce as written exactly. The meatballs were too sweet and the flavors didn't blend well. I used brand name Grape Jelly & brand named chili sauce. The Grape overpowered the chili sauce. Will not make again.

Perfect Sesame Chicken

made it exactly as written. Too much cornstarch. The sauce was too thick and looked a dirty brown color. No appealing at all. Flavor was OK. Not restaurant quality at all. If I make it again, I'd change the recipe so much it would be the same recipe.

Old Fashioned Stollen

A blah recipe. The stollen is bland in flavor. Texture and size is good however. I made 2 stollen recipes - this one and another one which has nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon. My family (hubby, 19, 18 and 19 year old boys) preferred the 2nd one. I will add that recipe after Christmas.

Garlicky Baked Butternut Squash

I made it exactly as the recipe states. My husband did not like his squash prepared this way. He prefers baked squash with brown sugar & butter. I liked it - especially the garlicky flavor. It is definitely a different way to cook squash and unfortunately will not make it again since only 1/2 of the people who ate it said they would eat it again.

Sausage Barley Soup

Great for dinner on a cold night! Very easy to make! I added 5 chopped tomatoes with the carrots and some red pepper flakes. We served it with a loaf of french bread. Needless to say our family of 5 ate it all up at one meal. The teenagers wanted to know when we are making it again.
