Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

No-Fuss Rice Pudding

This was great to use up extra rice I had. I had a bit more rice so I adjusted the amounts. My husband liked it and my daughter thought it was great. I might presoak the raisins (or buy better ones) next time.

Easy Oatmeal Cookies

This was an ok recipe. Like another reviewer I thought these were more like a scone than a cookie. I tried various sizes and like it best when I used my mini muffin pan to bake them. They tasted good but I wanted a more traditional cookie. I omitted the nuts due to allergies.

Mayonnaise Cookies

This recipe inspired me. I was out of mayonaise and I used butter and eggs instead. I added a splash of egg nog and a dash of pumpkin spice. Chill the dough. Bake at 350 til golden or until your nose says they are done.

Kids Favorite Meatloaf

I took this a step futher. I rolled it out flat then put sliced ham and swiss cheese down. Roll up the meatloaf and its now a pinwheel. I baste in sauce and bake. If the sauce starts to burn cover with tinfoil until cooked all the way through.

Mexican Shepherd's Pie

This sounds like my fast version of tamale pie. Chili with either corn muffins or tea biscuits on top. I will try this recipe out and see what its like.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

I love these cookies. I doubled the batch and froze half the batter wrapped in wax paper and in a zip lock. Didn't stay frozen for long because my family ate them all up. Trying the recipe today with chocolate and butterscotch chips. YUMMY!

Basil Vinaigrette Dressing

This is similar to a salad dressing we had in one of the Walt Disney restaurants we were in. It is great on salad but excellent over chicken. A nice change from mayo based dressing. I recommend mixing in a blender. Our newest family favorite.

Dad's Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

I love this recipe. I tried the simple pb cookies but I like the flavour of this recipe best. My dad loved them and he knows cookies. I think its the chunky peanut butter.
