I love to try new recipes so this site is perfect! I am a busy mom with two children and work out of the home so sometimes cooking dinner has to be quick. When I have extra time I love to read any type of book or power walk. I am active in service organizations and my children's activities. I like to cook different pasta dishes or try recipes that have an interesting mix of ingredients. I do some baking but that is not my strength. With our scandanavian backgrounds, a good hotdish is a must in the winter. My kids will eat anything so when we have a free evening, we will cook some pretty fantastic dinners to enjoy with wine/grape juice and candlelight...just for fun. If I can master baking breads, it would be a huge triumph. Baking....cookies, breads, cakes. I just really have problems with baking. Cooking is fine, baking is a challenge.
