I love to cook. I like to experiment, but enjoy having a recipe to guide me. I don't typically measure my ingredients (except when baking), so I'm pretty used to eyeballing and estimating. Unfortunately, my daughter's favorite food that I've ever made was the Suddenly Pasta Salad tonight...oh, well, her tastes will evolve! I love to cook a variety of dishes, but I'm learning to perfect some authentic Mexican dishes. After years of trying, I finally just asked my sister in law for some recipes. It is getting better. I also like to grill. I make an awesome faux shrimp ceviche tostada. When my husband told me that it was even better than the original, I knew that I'd hit pay dirt! Too many to count, but I steer clear of recipes from my fix it and forget it book, since I still can't forget the horible dinner that we tried several years ago.
