This cake was delicious! I substituted by cutting the oil, as others suggested, by instead using 3/4 cup oil and 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce and it came out so moist! I also added in dashes of pumpkin spice, cloves, and all spice; the outcome was incredibly rich. I used the "Cream Cheese Frosting II" from this site as well (!!). Will make again and again, especially when Thanksgiving rolls around!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I used the recipe straight-up, as is, and it was fantastic. The 1/4 cup of batter per pancake makes nice sized pancakes- not too big, not too small. They were fluffy and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed them a great deal. We also used the homemade maple syrup recipe off this site and it made a great breakfast! Thanks!

Homemade Pancake Syrup

This syrup really turned out great! I didn't have any maple syrup around (neither did I have maple extract) so like a few other reviewers I simply used the vanilla extract doubled (1 tsp.) instead. It turned out really well- was sweet and not overly vanilla-y tasting. I would definitely recommend this recipe. Thanks!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This was absolutely fantastic! Modification-wise: I took Tara1972's advice and added the "1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 tbs vanilla". I also used a pre-made frozen crust because I was under time contrain, but it worked out fantastically. For topping I found the " Crumb Topping for Pies" (can be found on this site) to use instead of the traditional crosshatching. The result couldn't have been better! Was absolutely delicious and beautiful as well. Definitely take the advice of others and put a baking sheet underneath the crust. In all, fantastic recipe, will definitely make it again soon.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Mercy! These muffins are genuninely as good as the reviews say they are. I did substitute an extra banana for the egg and it turned out fantastic and rich. The crumbly concoction on top is wonderful! I will definitely make them again and again!

WOW! This is fantastic chili! We make it here all the time and as someone said before it IS better the second day. We like to make it a bit spicier, but the basic recipe works really well. I would definitely recommend this. Thanks!

Potato Latkes I

This recipe is fantastic! We love to make these and they turn out delicious EVERY time! We have even accidentally put in too much flour and they turned out even better. You can't go wrong with this. I highly recommend them (especially with applesauce).

Chocolate Chip Cookies II
