I made these in hopes of going into labour. I added chocolate chips rather than raisins. I was very fortunate to go into labour the next morning and these cookies were an amazing treat through out recovery. Very very delicious, chewy and yummy. I will definitely be making these again and again.

California Chicken

Delicious and easy to prepare. I added a little bit of cajun spice mix to the chicken before I browned them and it added just a perfect spicy flavour that was complimented by the vegetables and cheese. Huge hit.

Cilantro Tomato Corn Salad

Great Salad. I also used frozen corn that I cooked before hand and added a touch of white wine vinegar to give it a little more of a tangy taste. It tastes best served cold and with BBQ chicken. I will be adding this to my summer salad box of recipes.

Skillet Beef and Macaroni

Delicious though I tweaked it quite a bit. I used 3 tbsps on Worchester sauce, a can of beef boullion, a can of tomato paste as well as green onions, celery, zucchini and red pepper. I also cooked the macaroni seperately, only adding it at the end. It turned out beautifully. Really hearty meal.

Gingerbread Cookies I

Really great recipe. The cookies are delicious. I had to add a TON of flour and ended up just adding a little by hand and kneeding the dough before rolling some out. I only baked them for 8 mins and would recommend doing the same thing.

Jammin' Tarheel Chili

Delicious meal. I cooked it in the crockpot, added peppers with the mushrooms, celery and onion. I found it too liquidy so I added some tomato paste. Overall, extremely tasty.

Traditional French Canadian Tourtiere

This was delicious. I used a little more liquid when boiling the meat and brushed the pie crust with egg yolk to brown it but other than that, it was fantastic!!! My husband is French Canadian and he was very happy, he practically ate half the pie in one sitting.

Green Curry Thai for Kings

Delicious meal, and easy and fast to make. I had a hard time finding the right "thai" fish sauce, but all the effort paid off. A family favourite for sure.
