Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
Can't give it the real worth of five stars, because I made too many changes. First I eliminated the brown Sugar as recommended by some others, then I used Thighs rather then Breasts as we prefer dark meat to white meat, added 1 tsp. Poultry Seasoning,1/2 tsp. ground Sage,1/2 cup diced Onion/Celery mix,1 tsp. Mesquite Liquid Smoke, and 2 tsp. minced Garlic. Cooked for 3.5 hours on high. Paired this up with 'Bush's' Grilling Barbecue Beans and Tomato and Avocado Salad from this site. WONDERFUL. Wife absolutely loved it. Definitaly a KEEPER.

Darn Good Chili
Made this yesterday, with some modification, and was informed that it is a keeper. First mod. was I added 1/2 lb. of 'hot'Italian sausage (bulk, not link) to the ground beef. Next cut the chili powder down to 1 tsp. and added 1 tsp. of Cumin, in place of the pasta sauce I used an 8-oz. can of tomato sauce. And instead of Kidney beans (we don't like them) i used 2 cans of Bush's Pinto Beans. I browned the beef and sausage together, then sauteed the onion and garlic together, put all the ingredients into the slow cooker and cooked on high for 4 hours. Will definately be makeing this again.

Amish Casserole
Can't give it 5 stars because of the changes I used, but overall a very good recipe. Also I think it needs a little less noodles. For the meat mixture, after browning, I added some chopped onion. Drained the liguid, added the tomato soup plus a drained 10-3/4 oz. can of petite diced tomatoes with peppers and onions and an 8 oz. can of tomato juice, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon onion powder. Also as some others used cream of potato soup and 8 oz. of sour cream in the noodles. Overall came out pretty good and will be making again.
