Very good for such an easy, quick, and inexpensive dinner. I served it with some Ore Ida french fries on the side and it was a very filling meal. I think it cost about $5 to prepare the recipe if you have the spices on hand (and they are common ones).

I wouldn't serve this to company or anything, and the flavor is not very sophisticated. That said, my kids love this dish and I think it's pretty good myself. A great weeknight dinner. Too mushy for my husband, I have made this a couple of times when he won't be home. Good left over, too, but not with the french fried onions.

I wanted to love this recipe, I really did. It might have been the brand of crushed tomatoes I used, because the soup was way too acidic for me. I don't usually like tomato dishes that call for sugar, but in this case I should have listened to the reviewers who added additional sugar.
