Banana Butter Icing

Such an amazing frosting. I used the Banan Cake X from this website. The cake was very moist and you can use a cake mix with part of the recipe to speed things along. This icing was the perfect combination with that cake recipe. I made it for my family reunion and it got many compliments.

Banana Cake X

Delicious, moist and amazing! The right amount of everything! I love that you can use cake mix to speed things up. I used a yellow cake mix that I had on hand. It would be good with a spice cake mix. I used the banana butter icing recipe from this website and it was a hit at our family reunion! I made this a week ago and I'm already craving it again! :)

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Absolutely amazing! The cherries, pineapple, and coconut are a nice addition to the traditional banana nut bread. I had lots of people ask for the recipe after making it. It's a pretty filling bread too as a little slice of it goes a long ways. Next time, I may add a little more mashed bananas for more of a banana flavor kick. Other than that, it's superb.

Amy's Barbecue Chicken Salad

Delicious combination of vegetables with a refreshing taste of salad dressing. I love the ranch/barbecue sauce combo and plan to use it for other recipes. If you need to speed things up, you can use the precooked chicken strips (I think it's Pepperidge Farm that makes them).

Orange Romaine Salad

Great recipe! The dressing was a little much but I think if you are just careful with the amount that you add, it'll be great. Also, I agree that toasted almonds or even adding pecans gives it a little extra crunch. Nice and healthy!

Extra Simple BBQ Banana

The idea behind it sounded great. But I think it would taste better with just slicing regular bananas over the ice cream and turning it into a sundae. I didn't care for the bbq banana taste but that was just me. Kids might enjoy this.

Fabulous Fruit Salad

This is absolutely wonderful! I made it for a spring/garden party and all of my guests loved it. I used all of the items listed and added grapes. This was a great side dish with chicken salad sandwiches. Other flavors of yogurt would work well too!

Caterpillar Cake

Absolutely adorable! Beautiful presentation! I received many compliments. Allow yourself extra time to ice and decorate the cake. I served this at a spring brunch! Everyone loved it and it was so yummy! My guests were afraid to cut the first piece though because they were afraid of ruining it!

Excellent recipe! I made this spread for sandwiches. My advice would be to double the recipe to get 10 servings. I served it on whole wheat sandwich buns and it was a hit. I also added extra grapes and almonds. Very yummy!

Frog Eye Salad

YUM, YUM, YUM! It definitely makes a ton and I doubled the recipe for a group of 40 people. It hardly made a dent in the salad considering that it made so much! The kids thought the Marascino cherries were the frog eyes! Definitely try it with vanilla cool whip for an extra kick of flavor or mix in some vanilla pudding mix!

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

These were good but they lacked something. I think they need more butter and less brown sugar. I would definitely recommend adding about 2/3 cup brown sugar instead of 1 cup so they aren't overpoweringly sweet! I would even suggest trying a powdered sugar frosting in place of the pudding mix. Anyways, with a few corrections, I think they would be great. They are very easy though and they would be fun to make with kids. I do give 5 stars for the name of the cinnamon buns!

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

WOW! THIS SALAD IS DELICIOUS! I LOVE IT AND SO DOES MY HUSBAND! HE NEVER LIKES SALADS! I LEFT OUT THE POPPYSEEDS FROM HIS PORTION OF THE DRESSING SINCE HE CAN'T HAVE THEM AND IT WAS STILL YUMMY! ALSO, I RECOMMEND DOUBLING THE APPLE/PEAR PORTION IF YOU LIKE FRUIT! TO MAKE IT EVEN EASIER, I USED A BAG OF ROMAINE LETTUCE RATHER THAN PURCHASING A HEAD! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE! THIS IS A KEEPER! THANKS!

Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

Great idea! Very yummy and filling! I only used 1 tbls. of butter and it did just fine! Also, you must have maple syrup to go with it! Delicious! Be sure to warm up your maple syrup too! Thanks for the recipe!
