Emily's Famous Chili
It was all I could do to not lick the bottom of the bowl. We used slightly more than half the can of chipotle peppers, and it was just almost too hot. We'll use a bit less next time. This is the only recipe we'll use for chili now.

Jamaican Tortilla Soup
We took the advice of double spices and less water. Excellent recipe. Unexpected and delicious. Perfect for when we're "tired of the same old stuff."

Cantina Pinto Beans
Adding one tablespoon chili powder makes it a 5 star, and more like the Southwestern style I grew up eating. May be spicy, so I omit the pepper flakes. I think of this as a bean soup, and I reach for this recipe often.
