About this Cook
I’m a busy college student that works full time as well. Given my hectic schedule when I cook it’s usually something quick and easy. Luckily my boyfriend loves to cook as well and cooks a lot during the week. When I have a little more free time I like to try out new and different recipes. I think cooking is relaxing, fun, and it makes you feel good. When you combine all these ingredients just the right way and something wonderful comes out, it’s just an amazing feeling. :)
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and decorate cakes. Baking is my favorite.

Apple-Raisin French Toast Casserole
I made this dish for an early morning meeting and it turned out great. I used cream instead of milk, and I omitted the raisins and used half the cinnamon because I used the cinnamon raisin bread. I also soaked the bread in the egg mixture before placing it over the apples. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I will definitely use this recipe again.

White Chocolate Gorp
All I have to say is don’t use Nestle premier white morsels. It wouldn’t really melt and the whole thing just didn’t turn out right. I don’t think I’ll be taking the time to try and make it with a better white chocolate, maybe milk chocolate if I ever feel like trying it again.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Slow cooking always turns out so good its hard to go wrong. Mine turned out wonderful. I only changed a few things. I omitted the celery, added a few cloves of garlic, fresh mushrooms and a small can of golden mushroom soup. It had so much flavor, and was so tender. I will definitely making this dish again.
