Simple 'N' Delicious Chocolate Cake

I was looking for a quick and simple dessert. What I found was one of the most amazing chocolate cakes I have EVER tasted! Fabulous taste and texture! Thank you so much for this recipe!!! As another reviewer mentioned, mine was perfectly baked in just 30 minutes. Will definitely be making this one again and again!

Gooey Chocolate Icing

This was probably the easiest frosting I have ever made. Decadently rich and sweet, which I enjoy every once in a while. The only change I made was to use a couple tablespoons of cocoa since I didn't have any baking chocolate on hand.

Potato Leek Soup III

This... was... sensational!! I cup back the butter to only 1/4 cup and used 1 cup half & half and 1 cup 2% milk. It was super rich and thick. Oh, and I also ran it through my food processor at the end for a nice finish. A real keeper! Thanks!!

Baked Yam and Potato Casserole

This was excellent... even my husband loved it and he's not crazy about yams! Great way to fit more of this highly nutritious vegetable into our weekly rotation. I made just enough for the two of us in a tiny little casserole and put just a bit of grated cheddar between the layers. Will definitely make regularly from now on... thanks!!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Fabulous recipe!!! I didn't change a thing except to raise the temperature on my oven just a tiny little bit to about 335 degrees. Many reviewers didn't like that these cookies are rather flat, but that's exactly the way I like my cookies. These are nice and soft with some crispness around the edges. Awesome flavor! Perfect!

Citrus Salmon in Parchment

Excellent way to prepare salmon! I didn't have lemon pepper, so just used salt and pepper. The citrus flavor was really nice. I'll be doing my salmon in parchment from now on!

Shepherd's Pie VI

This is a fantastic Shepherd's Pie recipe! I made it the first time exactly as written, and the second time I substituted ground turkey for the beef and added a can of creamed corn and some cooked peas over the carrot layer, just to get some extra vegetables in. My husband and I liked it even more with the turkey. Fabulous, quick and nutritious comfort food!!!

French Apple Tart (Tarte de Pommes a la Normande)

This was amazing! My husband thought it was one of the best desserts he's ever had. I didn't have any brandy, so used 1 tsp of almond extract instead. The crust was unbelievably light, flaky and delicious. A real keeper!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This was REALLY good! Fast, easy, economical and tasty. What a winning combination! This will be on our table often this winter. I didn't have chicken boullion, so instead used 2 cups chicken broth and 1 1/4 cups water. I might try it using all broth next time. Anyway, great recipe. Thanks!

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

FANTASTIC!!! Oh my goodness, I'm going to be making this all the time... it's just as fast and easy as making up a boxed pudding, but so, so, SO much better. The butter adds so much. Didn't change a thing, except added some almond extract second time I made it. Thank you so much!!!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

This was incredibly simple to make... and SOOOOO amazingly good!!! I used just over a cup of unpopped popcorn, and was able to fill a cookie sheet, and 2 9x11 pans. There was enough syrup mixture to nicely coat all of that, so it made a LOT! Only thing I did different was to use half corn syrup, half blackstrap molasses (just because I love the taste of molasses)and it was just amazing. Served it to a bunch of friends and they were very impressed! Try this one for sure!!

Caesar Salad Supreme

This is astoundingly good!! I'm one of those people who loves to cook and is constantly looking for "something even better". But I think on Caesar, I'm going to stick to this one. I hate mayonnaise, and wouldn't have made this had it not been for the reviews. The only changes I made were to use anchovy paste (about 1-2 tsp) and I added a little extra lemon and parmesan. After serving this at a recent dinner party, every guest asked for the recipe. It's amazing... thanks!!
