The FIRST time I did this, it was excellent. The 2nd time, it was a tad dry. I'm not sure what the difference was but since I know it was great the first time, I have to give it 5 stars. Absolutely wonderful!

Beef Stew VI

I thought this was just okay. I went by some of the other reviews and added a cup of wine and corn and some more cornstarch. I must say though, I thought this was too salty. Maybe just 1 boullion cube less would be okay. I don't know. My husband thought it was fine. Maybe it was just me.

Mayonnaise Biscuits

These biscuits were very good. There was a slight salty flavor though and no buttery taste. Other than that...awesome. They were my first batch of biscuits EVER and turned out perfectly!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Hmmmm....well, the inside of this pie was wonderful but for some reason I could not get the meringue to cooperate with me. I tried it twice and neither time would it stiffen up. Not sure what I could have done wrong...especially since I did it twice. The pie hit the trash.

Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce III

The whiskey sauce was excellent and I DID take others advice and cut the whiskey amount a bit. Not sure by how much exactly but the whole amount called for would have been too much. For the bread pudding itself....weeeeelllll....it certainly needs to be cooked longer. I cooked it at least another 15 min and it was a bit slimy and STILL not ready. Other than that...good recipe as long as a few alterations are made.

Tanya's Louisiana Southern Fried Chicken

This was pretty good chicken with a decent flavor but I recommend adding that extra seasonings in with the flour so you have one less step. I must say that the chicken was a little greasy and a mess to make. Prob won't make again but it was worth a shot. Thanks!
